Former CBS Entertainment President Jeff Sagansky has resigned as vice chairman of Paxson Communications Corp., a small broadcast network that runs mostly family-friendly programming. Sagansky will
also quit his seat on the company's board of directors. It's Sagansky's second resignation from Paxson in less than a year. In December, he resigned as president and chief executive. Sagansky told
Dow Jones Newswires that he was looking at job possibilities that might have been a conflict of interest with his duties at Paxson. He declined to comment on his job search. Sagansky became Paxson's
CEO in 1998. He had been president of CBS Entertainment from 1990 to 1994. He has also worked at Sony. Paxson has started a search to fill his position.
