PointRoll Opens West Coast Office
Aug 20, 2003, 12:00 AM
Though it recently hired three new sales executives from its Ft. Washington, PA headquarters, PointRoll is demonstrating that its growth is only beginning. The company on Wednesday announced the opening of its first West Coast Office, in Los Angeles. New Western Regional Sales Director Alex Hanan is commissioned with expanding PointRoll's Entertainment business and with further developing its west coast portfolio as a whole. Hanan formerly managed national healthcare, pharmaceuticals, and real estate accounts for the New York Times Digital. Prior to his work at NY Times Digital, he was Regional Sales Manager for Alta Vista. PointRoll also announced that the longtime VP for North American Technology Sales for 24/7 Real Media, Ellen Farnum, had joined the team as Vice President, Channel Development, MSN. As such, Ms. Farnum will be responsible for the strategic management of the relationship that PointRoll enjoys with MSN. She will be based in PointRoll's Ft. Washington headquarters. "Ellen has worked on major Open AdStream deals for years, so she knows the advertising technology environment as well as anyone" said PointRoll CEO Jules Gardener. "We're expecting her to fast become a real asset to our team."
