DIck Clark Dies At 82

Entertainment icon Dick Clark died Wednesday morning after suffering a massive heart attack. He was 82. Clark gained attention as the host of "American Bandstand" on ABC from 1956 to 1989, which helped popularize rock 'n' roll music. His successful Dick Clark Productions produced "Bandstand," as well as numerous award shows and game shows, such as "Pyramid."
