At flash sale site Rue La La, iPhone shoppers are more likely to use their gadgets to buy jewelry and accessories, while iPad users are more apt to use the device to buy clothing and home furnishings, reports Women’s Wear Daily.

In an interview with Rue La La president Steven C. Davis, the trade paper reports that more than 75% of its customers shop the site via a mobile phone, compared with less than 10% two years ago.

And when customers shop the site via three screens (computer, phone and tablet), “that customer is 540% more likely to buy from us than somebody who shops in just one channel alone,” Davis tells WWD. At this point, 60% of Rue La La’s mobile sales are made on an iPhone, 30% on an iPad, and 10% on an Android platform.
