Digitas announced yesterday that Martin Reidy will join the firm as President of Digitas West, a newly created position. Reidy is currently president and chief executive officer of Interpublic Group's interactive agency R/GA. Bob Greenberg, R/GA's chairman and chief creative officer, will assume the title of CEO. Reidy is expected to fully assume his new position at Digitas in January. He joined R/GA, a subsidiary of the Interpublic Group, as president in 1996 and was named chief executive officer in 1999. Prior to joining R/GA, Reidy was a senior vice president at EMI Music, where he was responsible for all acquisition and strategic development, expanding the company's portfolio of labels in the U.S. and internationally.
