Sundance Channel has renewed the unscripted original series “The Mortified Sessions” for a second season and announced five original series in development. These unscripted projects include the network’s first wholly owned scripted drama series “Rectify” and Jane Campion’s miniseries “Top of the Lake” to premiere in 2013. Based on the UK phenomenon, "Dream School" reinvents education with a dream team faculty to ignite kids' passion for learning. "Kenya & Carl" follows a husband-and-wife team of marriage counselors who explore the world of open marriages.
