Twitter To Honor Do Not Track

Twitter has agred to honor a browser-based do-not-track header, the Federal Trade Commission's chief technologist Ed Felten announced this morning at an Internet Week New York event. Full details aren't yet clear, but Felten indicated that Twitter will refrain from collecting data about users when they visit other publishers that have social widgets allowing people to tweet articles.
