Maven Networks Unveils Broadband Solution

Maven Networks, Inc., a broadband software company, has launched Maven Media System, a software solution that allows clients to create, deliver, measure and manage full-screen, interactive video applications targeted at users with high-speed Internet connections. Also, Maven announced that Virgin Records, Twentieth Century Fox and the National Geographic Channel are using the company's Maven Media System to deliver video applications to broadband Internet users. Company officials argue that these applications go beyond the passive viewing models of the dial-up era to involve consumers in interactive video experiences.
