Conde Nast's GQ is featuring augmented reality for ads and some edit in its September issue, enabling readers to use a new app, GQ Live, for "print-to-mobile content extensions, including videos, 3-D modeling, interactive experiences and click-throughs to social media and e-commerce sites," writes David Lipke.
The app uses the Aurasma platform, currently in play for a story in Popular Science's June issue.
