  • June 29, 2012

Dick's Sporting Goods is launching the second year of its PACE (Protecting Athletes through Concussion Education) program that provides more than 3,500 schools and youth organizations with free baseline concussion testing. The Dick’s Sporting Goods Foundation is launching the program with a panel discussion on “Concussions in Youth Sports.”

Moderated by ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the event will feature All-Pro quarterback and Super Bowl XLIV MVP Drew Brees; Stanley Cup Champion and former New York Ranger Mike Richter; World Cup- and Olympic Gold Medal-winning goalkeeper Briana Scurry; Two-time Super Bowl Champion Carl Banks and Dr. Mark Lovell, neuropsychologist and CEO of ImPACT Applications, Inc., which partnered with Dick's for PACE. ImPACT is the computerized concussion evaluation system that does the testing.
