Scientology To Create Religious Broadcasting Center

  • July 11, 2012

The Church of Scientology plans to start a religious broadcasting center, which may be similar to the Christian Broadcasting Network, to promote its teachings over TV, radio and the Internet, reports Reuters. The center would occupy the studio property bought last year from Los Angeles public TV station KCET for $42 million. A spokeswoman said the church planned to establish a central media hub and move into religious TV and radio broadcasting. High-profile followers include Tom Cruise and John Travolta.
