The Association of National Advertisers' and the American Association of Advertising Agencies' Joint Policy Committee on Broadcast Talent Union Relations Friday said they reached a new TV and radio
advertising talent agreement with the Screen Actors Guild and the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (AFTRA), marking the first time in the industry's relations with the labor
unions that it reached an agreement before a contract expired. Details of the agreement were not disclosed, but the committee said they would be released after the union boards review the agreement
on Monday.
