NYTimes.com Relaunches Crosswords

NYTimes.com on Tuesday announced three new features on its Premium Crosswords that enable members to play collaboratively or competitively, solo or in groups. The new features, "Play Against the Clock," "Play With a Friend" and "Challenge Matches," are available to Premium Crosswords subscribers only, for an annual subscription fee of $34.95 or a monthly fee of $5.95. Also new to Premium Crosswords is a Top Ten Puzzlers area that is continuously updated. Premium Crosswords is the only place to play the daily Times crossword online. Launched in March 2001, Premium Crosswords has more than 40,000 subscribers.
