'Smithsonian' Debuts Redesign, New Features

Smithsonian Magazine unveils its redesign under new editor-in-chief Michael Caruso. The September "Style & Design" special issue offers a revamped layout, graphics and content. It also introduces new features, with a new focus on technology and design to include subjects found in Smithsonian’s Cooper Hewitt and Hirshhorn museums. The "Style" issue publishes a slate of notable writers, including Walter Isaacson, Jill Lepore and Mark Stevens. Novelist Martin Amis gives an exclusive interview about the nature of bad behavior and evil.
