T-Mobile, MetroPCS Propose Merger

T-Mobile and MetroPCS have proposed a merger that would create a nearly $25 billion, 42.5 million-subscriber company, reports B&C. But it needs the approval of the Justice Department
and the FCC. Last year, the FCC and Justice blocked AT&T's bid to buy T-Mobile. This new proposal could create a stronger rival to AT&T and Verizon.
