Kimmel Comes Home To Brooklyn -- And Letterman's On Board

In the same week the NBA’s Nets will bring major league sports back to Brooklyn for the first time in more than 50 years, ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel will do something perhaps even more groundbreaking: a late-night show live from the New York City borough. During the week of Oct. 29, the Brooklyn native will convene “Jimmy Kimmel Live” at the Brooklyn Academy of Music, just a few short blocks from the Nets’ new home at Barclays Center. Kimmel’s guests that week will include many notable New Yorkers – including late-night competitor David Letterman, whom the ABC host will be taking on head-to-head starting in January.
