LiveLab To Launch 'Inventing The Future'

  • November 27, 2012

LiveLabNetwork will lauch "Inventing The Future" with Robert Tercek, named one of the “Digital Dozen” most influential players in new media by Variety, in January. "Inventing" is a live Web TV show, or what Tercek says, "what comes next after TV.  It's a show that is designed, from the ground up, to incorporate social media, gaming and live interactive features that will give the audience a meaningful way to participate." Founded in 2009, LiveLab is a unit of Suite Partners Inc, a big producer of original YouTube content.

We launched programming similar to this in 2009. Hosts interacted in a live environment w/social media & chat. We created a UGC platform where most of the content was sent in by the audience. Won an Emmy - didn't make any money. Discovery is the big issue, better roll niche of you're sunk. Best of luck.
