HuffPo Japan On Track

The Huffington Post Media Group and the Asahi Shimbun Company have parterned for Huffington Post Japan, a Japanese-language version of HuffPo. Jimmy Maymann, CEO of the Huffington Post Media Group, said "it marks our entrance into Asia, the fastest-growing region in the world, economically." The Asahi Shimbun Company has a daily circulation of 8 million copies for the morning edition and 3.4 million for the evening edition, with reporting in English, Chinese and Korean as well as Japanese.
