Downton Abbey Viewers Tweet During Programme

Tweeting about a television programme while you are watching it has become routine for many users of the micro-blogging site. Nor may it be surprising to see such multi-tasking being carried out during shows like The X Factor, which perhaps do not demand high levels of concentration. But newly released data suggests that Downton Abbey fans are also tweeting heavily during the show itself, rather than waiting for the advert breaks to peel their eyes away from the action and compose or read messages.
