Vieira Engaged In Talk Show Talks

Meredith Vieira, the former co-host of NBC’s “Today” show, is in talks with NBCU about hosting a syndicated talk show to air in fall 2014, reports The New York Times.
Vieira is only in the discussion stage, but if it turns into a show, the likely time slot for the former "View" cohost would probably 2 p.m., which currently airs "Jeff Probst" in many markets. Katie
Couric, also a "Today" host, could eventually compete with Vieira.
