Boost, Davis Promote NBA App
No contract wireless provider Boost Mobile is teaming with New Orleans Hornet forward Anthony Davis to its free offering of the NBA Game Time Plus app, which features live radio broadcasts, video, alerts and real-time scores.
“With NBA Game Time Plus from Boost Mobile, Android customers score a free front-row seat to NBA action throughout the entire season,” said Steve Gaffney, vice president-Corporate Marketing. “To build even more excitement for the app we are teaming with Anthony Davis, a perfect ambassador for the Boost brand. He is young, fun and attacks the court just like Boost Mobile attacks the no-contract wireless competition.”
The Game Time Plus app is included with Boost’s Android monthly plans, and is available with phones running Android 2.2 or higher. Davis will be featured in in-store merchandise displays. The company will also promote the app through radio, social media, digital advertising and local marketing events, as well as with a sweepstakes giving consumers the chance to win one of ten Galaxy S II devices.
