Saks Advertises Its Beefed-Up Perks

Saks Fifth Avenue says it is expanding its SaksFirst loyalty program, and introducing it with a “Love at First Swipe” ad campaign, scheduled to run newspapers, magazines and catalogs. The retailer is offering free membership to all Saks cardholders, and perks including enhanced points, invitations to exclusive events, and free shipping. It’s also expanded the program to include purchases at its Off 5th outlet stores. To entice shoppers to sign up during the introductory period, the retailer is offering a $25 gift card, as well as $100 gift cards to the first 500 shoppers who show their cards in-store; a free yogurt in its restaurant if they claim the offer on Facebook; double points on beauty purchases and free same-day delivery in Manhattan.
