Twentieth Cancels 'Ricki Lake'

Distributor Twentieth Television said today that "The Ricki Lake Show," which debuted last fall, would not renew the show for a second season, but that original episodes would be produced through the end of this season, reports TVNewsCheck. For the week ending Jan. 20, the show managed a household rating of just 0.7, which placed it far down the list of syndicated talk shows.
