Major League Sets Plans For A Baseball Cable Channel

Major League Baseball Friday approved plans to create a national cable TV channel devoted to professional baseball. It was unclear how much, if any live baseball coverage the channel would air, at least initially, due to exclusive national TV rights deals with ESPN and Fox.
