Swartz Upped To Hearst CEO

Steven R. Swartz, the Hearst’s president and COO, will succeed Frank A. Bennack Jr. as CEO of the corporation on June 1. Bennack will continue to serve as executive vice chairman of the Hearst board of directors and chairman of the corporation's executive committee. He is a director of Hearst Corp., a trustee of the trust established under the will of William Randolph Hearst and a director of the two Hearst Foundations.
