Guardian Editor Joins Twitter U.S. As Data Editor

Guardian News and Media news editor Simon Rogers is leaving after 15 years with The Guardian to join Twitter in the US as its first data editor. Rogers is a news editor for The Guardian and also edits the title's Datablog and Datastore online sections. He is being replaced by former Wikileaks and Bureau of Investigative Journalism staffer James Ball who has been with The Guardian since 2011.
