MediaMath today announced the appointments of Rachel Meranus as senior vice president, marketing, and Brian Miller as general counsel.

Meranus' role is newly created, and she will be charged with overseeing the company's global marketing and communications efforts. "The fact that this is a newly created position does not change my approach or my goals," Meranus told RTM Daily.

Previously, Meranus worked at PR Newswire, where she served as VP of public relations before being named VP of marketing and communications.

As General Counsel, Miller will "oversee MediaMath's domestic and international partnerships, affiliates and licensing, as well as potential M&A activity." He was previously General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer at EducationDynamics.
