Herald & Times Group To Cut 20 Positions

It is understood the production and photographic production departments will be the hardest hit at the Group, which produces the Glasgow-based Herald, Sunday Herald and Glasgow Evening Times. Staff were given the news on Thursday afternoon. Scotland's NUJ organiser Paul Holleran said the union was very concerned at the latest job cuts and criticised American parent company of publisher Newsquest, Gannett.
