Hitwise Unveils New SEM Tool

  • September 27, 2004
Web Traffic market research firm Hitwise last week launched the Search Term Suggestion Report. The report monitors the search behavior of 25 million Internet users, providing marketers with a breakdown of successful and unsuccessful terms. It aims to identify the most successful keyword variations that Web surfers use while searching for specific content, products, or services online. For example, an online travel agency can run a report of all search terms containing the words "cheap airfares" and see thousands of variations (i.e., cheap last-minute airfares, cheap airfares for students, cheap domestic airfares, etc.), including relative success rates in driving traffic to a Web site. The Search Term Suggestion Report is available in five global markets: The US, UK, Australia, New Zealand, and Singapore.
