As this is Computer Science Education Week, Bill Gates and Mark Zuckerberg, among others, are hoping to help kids learn to code. Jonathan Gardner, a communications expert with digital firm Turn, wonders if it might be just as important to teach kids about digital citizenship and privacy, and that what you do online you're doing on stage before a public with an indelible memory. "Data is becoming a bigger part of corporate and academic decision making and America's youth need to know that the trail they leave online … promises to follow them for a long time to come," he writes.
