Bud Wins Boston.Com's Readers' Choice 'Brand Bowl' Award

Boston viewers are still infatuated with Bud's "Puppy Love" Super Bowl ad.

The touching tale of an unbreakable bond between a beyond-adorable Lab puppy and a super-sweet Clydesdale, along with a second ad depicting a soldier's heartwarming homecoming, helped The King of Beers snag Boston.com's first "Readers' Choice" Award in the site's sixth annual "Brand Bowl" for Super Bowl ads. Bud was crowned winner of the Brand Bowl's Twitter competition last Sunday.

While voter turnout for the Readers' Choice competition was light -- only 800 readers bothered to participate -- Bud managed to grab 80 votes.

RadioShack came in second, with 73 votes, for its epic '80s throwback spot. The electronics vendor also took second in the Twitter competition on Sunday, proving once again that America's obsession with big hair will never really die.

T-Mobile took third place. The telecom giant aired three ads during the game, including one featuring a self-deprecating Tim Tebow showing viewers that life is indeed better without a contract.
