'Programmatic Premium' Trending Up In Europe

The Drum has posted an article arguing that “digital convergence will make programmatic more friend than foe.” The piece warns that programmatic traders should not let the tech “get stuck on the sidings as a mere performance sales platform,” but needs to make a push in the premium realm.

The piece is authored by Karim Attia, CEO of nugg.ad, an audience targeting company.

While its adoption still has to take a few hurdles in the UK, we do see a strong upward trend in the adoption of programmatic premium among many of our European customers,” writes Attia. “Nonetheless, there are reasons to believe that the technology is also building up steam in the UK, and that this year could well become a turning point for programmatic among brand advertisers.”
