With Ancestry.com’s updated iOS app, exploring family history is more interactive than ever. The simplified layout provides a detailed timeline with narratives, historical context, and media, automatically generated from an ancestor's life events. Users can also build a family tree through Facebook connections, providing a new way to get started quickly and make discoveries about family genealogy. Underpinning this activity are more than 200-million user-contributed photo and documents, along with 12 million birth, death, military and other records.
