NYTimes Reports Traffic Increase

The New York Times Company reported that for the month of November, year-over-year traffic increased at all three of the largest websites of New York Times Digital, its Internet division. Page views rose 99% at NYTimes.com, 52% at Boston.com and 89% at newyorktoday.com. Sessions or visits grew 74% at NYTimes.com, 26% at Boston.com and 51% at newyorktoday.com.
NYTimes.com experienced record traffic in November boosted by the elections and the Florida recount. In particular, on November 8, the day after the election, NYTimes.com reported a record-breaking traffic day with 9.6 million page views and 1.1 million unique visitors. NYTimes.com has now surpassed 14 million registered users.
