Apple Makes Play For Connected Home

Apple unveiled a new program at its annual
Worldwide Developers Conference keynote on Monday. Called HomeKit, it is Apple's effort to bring order to the
fragmented connected-device world of home automation. The company says HomeKit will be a kind of air traffic control for automated appliances with iPhone as the remote.
