Brand Chatter Turns From Soda To Tech

As sodas lost footing to waters and teas, they are also losing in the buzz wars. Last year Coke lost its most-talked-about brand status to Apple, reflecting a trend from sodas to technology brands when it comes to word of mouth. The Keller Fay Group finds that word of mouth impressions for sodas like Coke, Pepsi and Dr Pepper have been steadily declining since 2011.
