Is the tech category poised for a comeback? Despite double-digit ad spending decreases so far this year, one report sees light at the end of the tunnel. Despite tremendous changes taking place on the
demand and supply sides, the worldwide business consulting and IT consulting services markets will both recuperate by 2003, a U.S. market research firm predicted Tuesday. According to International
Data Corporation (IDC), the two global markets will reach 54.2 billion U.S. dollars and 32.2 billion dollars respectively in 2006. The global business consulting market will increase 11% through 2006,
slightly faster than the IT consulting market, which will grow at 9.8%.
