Maryland Casino Sues Former Employee For Stealing Email Addresses of Valuable Customers

Maryland Live! Casino in Baltimore is suing a former employees for sending out an email to 19 people, which the casino claims helped a competitor build its loyalty club. U.S. District Judge Marvin J. Garbis has issued an injunction will prevent former Maryland Live! VIP host Helena Wong from contacting her former customers to promote her new place of employment, the new Horseshoe Casino Baltimore. Maryland Live! claims that the email list is proprietary. While The Horseshoe Casino was not named in the suit, the company cannot reach out to any of the customers on the list either. The organization will be able to contact those potential customers if they are able to secure their contact details from anthers source.
