BILL LAMAR: McDonald's

McDonald's named BILL LAMAR to the post of SVP-U.S. Marketing, where he will oversee all aspects of national marketing for McDonald's 13,000 U.S. restaurants. Lamar succeeds TOM RYAN, who will focus his attention exclusively on McDonald's concept development and menu innovation. Lamar was VP/GM of McDonald's Atlanta Region, where he was responsible for nearly 700 restaurants with more than $1 billion in annual sales. He joined McDonald's in 1984.
