JOHN WEISGERBER has joined Forbes magazine as vice president of custom media sales. He will oversee all advertising sales for Forbes Custom Communications Partners magazines. Weisgerber last served as associate publisher of Yahoo Internet Life. Also at Forbes, DAVE PINKERTON has been promoted to manager in Forbes' Washington, D.C., sales office. He replaces Nancy Sterling, who has moved to Forbes.com sales as Midwest manager. Pinkerton served as ad sales representative in Washington, D.C., since September 2000. Prior to this he was ad sales manager for the Southeastern region at U.S. News & World.
