Thirteen-year Discovery Networks veteran
JOHN FORD has resigned from his post as President of New Media, effective February 14. A successor is expected to be named in the coming weeks. During
his career at Discovery, Ford launched The Learning Channel, Discovery Health and Discovery HD Theater. Ford also oversaw programming at Discovery Networks and the discovery.com website as President
of the U.S. Content Group. Ford had hoped to be named president of Discovery Networks, insiders said last year. But that position went to Discovery newcomer Billy Campbell.
