STEPHEN P. HILLS, a Vice President of The Washington Post who oversees its advertising, circulation and marketing departments, will become President and General Manager of the newspaper
effective Sunday. Hills, who joined the newspaper in 1987, will oversee Post business operations. The positions of president and general manager have been vacant since September 2000.
