RealNetworks, a company specializing in Internet media delivery, announced that MARC PODELL has joined the company as Regional Account Manager for ad sales, covering the Northeast, New York and Detroit. Podell will be responsible for managing and developing new business, as well as creating integrated sponsorship and promotional opportunities. Most recently, he was National Account Manager at Ticketmaster Media Group, and before that at Ask Jeeves, covering the Midwest region for both companies. RealNetworks also announced that SANDRA GABOUR is joining the ad sales team as an Account Manager. She will be responsible for developing sales in New York and the mid-Atlantic region. Prior to Real, she worked at Netcreations, Inc. as an Account Manager responsible for selling integrated email marketing solutions for both consumer and business-oriented advertisers.
