SUSAN BANKS has been named vice president of marketing and creative services of TV One, the new cable television network targeting adult African American and urban viewers that is scheduled to launch in January 2004. In this position, Banks will be responsible for development and implementation of the network’s consumer marketing and brand strategy, including on-air promotion and consumer marketing. She joins TV One from the CBS Television Network, where since 1992 she has been director of on-air promotion in charge of planning, scheduling and creating promotions for the network’s daytime and children’s programming lineup.
