Wheaties Professional Bowling Association Ad Goes Back In Time For Bowling Icon

Wheaties usually taps stars like Michael Jordan and Tiger Woods. But Andy Varipapa is the star in its ad for the Pro Bowling Association tournament on ESPN. The trick shot artist died in 1984, but vintage footage of Varipapa are central to the new spot. Wheaties will also sponsor one of the competing teams, whose members will wear Wheaties bowling shirts. Other brands sponsoring teams include Geico and Barbasol, according to the PBA.
