EDWIN V. AVENT, executive vice president and chief operating officer of ad agency Twenty First Century Group has purchased Vanguarde Media’s Heart & Soul magazine. Avent will become president and CEO of Heart & Soul Enterprises and publisher of Heart & Soul magazine.
