AKQA has named KATE EVERETT-THORP as president, interactive advertising. She will oversee AKQA's online advertising operations across all offices. Most recently, Everett-Thorp served as chairman and chief marketing officer for Carat Interactive where she was charged with the integration of three companies: Carat Interactive, Vizium and a company she founded in 1998, Lot21. Prior to that, she was CEO of Lot21.
