REVOLVING DOOR: Publicis Seattle Hires Eight

Publicis Seattle hired James McKenna and Matthew Trego as creative directors, working on the T-Mobile account. They will report to Jason Lucas, executive creative director, overseeing the T-Mobile business. Most recently, McKenna was a creative director at TBWA/Chiat/Day in Los Angeles, working on Disney, Grey Goose, Jimmy Dean, Reebok and Google. McKenna also held several roles at Microsoft, most recently as creative director of Global Creative Solutions where he conceptualized interactive advertising campaigns, and oversaw the production of global digital advertising and branded experiences. Trego joins Publicis Seattle from McKinney, where he served as an associate creative director, helping to launch the SEC Network for ESPN. While there, Trego also produced work for Mizuno Golf, EAS Sports Nutrition, Big Boss Brewing Company, CenturyLink, and Sherwin-Williams. In addition to McKenna and Trego joining the agency, Publicis Seattle also hired six new hires in the creative and account management departments. Derek Anderson was named associate creative director, charged with working on the T-Mobile account. Brad Gale was named account director. Gale re-joins the agency after stints at DNA Seattle, MRM//McCann, and leading business development for a web design and digital shop in Salt Lake City. Maria Schoonover joins the agency as account director on the agency's American Girl and KinderCare accounts. Previously, she was client-side at the Universal Technical Institute, Carmichael Lynch and The Martin Agency. Garth Knutson was tapped as account director on the T-Mobile account. Elise Davis was named senior strategist, tasked with working on Kraft Heinz and other accounts. Before joining Publicis, Davis was a strategist at Ogilvy Chicago on the SC Johnson account. Lastly, Tim Biggins was named senior broadcast producer. In his new role, he'll work on T-Mobile's live-action productions for TV and radio
