The embattled PC market has sunk to its lowest point in a decade, as sales fell for the sixth consecutive quarter. PC shipments were down 9.6% year-on-year during the first three months of 2016 to just 64.8 million units -- the first time the shipment volume has fallen below 65 million since 2007, according to Gartner. During the same period in 2013, around 76.3 million PCs were sold.
