Elizabeth Denham To Become Next Information Commissioner

Elizabeth Denham will start as the new UK Information Commissioner on Monday 18 July. She will be responsible for leading the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK’s independent authority that regulates the Data Protection Act, Freedom of Information Act and the rules around marketing calls and texts. Ms Denham will serve a five year term.
